Web Developer

Leidos' National Security Sector is looking for a fully cleared Web Developer to support an enterprise IT program, doing full stack web development with a focus on UX/UI design, and the development and maintenance of Joomla and WordPress websites, including a strong emphasis on accessibility.

• Full stack web development specializing in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design
• Development and maintenance of Joomla and WordPress websites
• Site information architecture design, visual design, and site administration
• Testing with multiple forms of assistive technology (JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText) and browser-specific tools (Lighthouse, JAWS Inspect, WAVE, ARC Tool)
• Web accessibility auditing and remediation using ARIA and WCAG 2.1 standards

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience
• Demonstrated experience in Joomla and WordPress site information architecture design, visual design, and site administration
• Demonstrated experience developing websites and applications meeting Section 508 accessibility and usability standards
• Demonstrated experience testing with assistive technology tools (JAWS, NVDA, ZoomText) and browser accessibility tools (Lighthouse, JAWS Inspect, WAVE, ARC Tool)
• Demonstrated experience with Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) and WCAG 2.1 standards, including web accessibility auditing and remediation
