Web Accessibility Specialist (WCAG/Section 508) – Hybrid | Phoenix, AZ

SunSoft Online is seeking a Web Accessibility Specialist for an Arizona State agency. This position focuses on ensuring websites and digital content comply with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 accessibility standards. Perform accessibility audits for websites and digital content.

Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 and Section 508 standards.

Test websites using screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Remediate PDFs and other digital documents for accessibility.

Manage and update website content through a Content Management System (CMS).

Write and edit clear, user-friendly web content.

Work with business users to improve digital accessibility.

Provide accessibility guidance and best practices to content contributors.

Bachelor's degree (required).

Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG and/or Section 508).

Experience testing websites using accessibility tools or assistive technologies.

Experience managing website content using a CMS.

Strong written communication and editing skills.

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Local to the Phoenix metro area.

Must currently reside in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Must be available for an in-person interview.

Must be able to start within two weeks of an offer.
