Front-End Tech Lead (m/f/x)

PPG is hiring a Front-End Tech Lead to drive technical leadership for digital eCommerce and lead-generation platforms in a hybrid setup (Wroclaw/Brno/Barcelona).

The role leads Angular-based frontend architecture, accessibility-focused implementation, developer mentorship, and AI-assisted engineering practices across Agile delivery teams.

• Lead technical analysis and delivery planning for frontend platform requirements.
• Design and guide scalable Angular application development in Agile teams.
• Enforce frontend standards for accessibility, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, define quality bars (DoD), and mentor developers.
• Coordinate with architecture, DevOps, security, and functional teams.
• Support testing, release planning, deployment, maintenance, and incident readiness.
• Promote CI/CD and QA tooling practices (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, BrowserStack).
• Lead responsible use of AI-assisted development tools and validate generated code quality.
• Explore and guide integration of AI-driven frontend features.

• 7+ years frontend development experience with strong Angular/TypeScript expertise.
• Strong command of RxJS, component-driven architecture, state management, and responsive UI.
• Strong HTML/CSS/SCSS and accessibility best-practice knowledge (WCAG).
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Proven track record in code quality leadership, testing discipline, and mentoring.
• Familiarity with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud/deployment concepts (preferably Azure) and DevOps workflows.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency (B2+).

• Experience with CommerceTools, Kontent.AI, Algolia/Elasticsearch/Solr, or similar platforms.
• Docker knowledge.
• .NET ecosystem familiarity.
• SEO, semantic markup, and analytics/tracking integration experience.
• Experience building high-traffic marketing/eCommerce sites.
• Exposure to AI/ML libraries, chatbot frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI services integration.
