Digital Accessibility Tester

Info Way Solutions is recruiting a contract Digital Accessibility Tester for the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services. The testing-heavy role evaluates state websites, applications, documents, mobile products, forms, and enterprise platforms, then documents barriers and guides remediation across state and vendor teams.

• Perform manual accessibility testing and audits of state digital assets.
• Develop test cases, maintain test libraries, and organize findings for remediation.
• Provide code-level and role-based remediation recommendations.
• Evaluate vendor products, report compliance results, and mentor teams on testing standards.

A bachelor's degree, at least three years of hands-on digital-accessibility testing, and at least two years on a digital-product team are required. Candidates need WCAG and Section 508 expertise, manual testing with assistive technology, HTML and ARIA knowledge, responsive-web testing, clear reporting, and experience helping technical and non-technical teams remediate barriers.

Experience with axe, WebAIM, SiteImprove, Sitebulb, ARC Toolkit, Jira, Confluence, Sitecore, Salesforce, Adobe XD, SQL, CSS, JavaScript, and document remediation is preferred.
