Cross Connection Control Investigator

This role tests, maintains, and repairs the City's backflow prevention (cross-connection) assemblies to protect the public water supply. The investigator inspects new water services and oversees the City's annual cross-connection testing program, working under the general supervision of the Water Production and Distribution Supervisor.

• Test, maintain, and repair all City-owned backflow prevention assemblies to ensure proper functioning
• Inspect and test backflow devices annually
• Inspect new water services
• Oversee annual cross-connection testing to ensure the safety of the public water system
