Coordinator, Student Accessibility Services

This role supports Florida Atlantic University students with disabilities (medical, psychological, physical, learning, hearing, and visual). The Coordinator reports to the SAS Associate Director and is responsible for identifying and providing for the special needs of these students.

• Maintain a caseload of students
• Review and interpret disability documentation
• Meet with students to determine and grant academic, housing, and ESA (emotional support animal) accommodations
• Prepare and provide presentations to students, faculty, and staff regarding disability issues
