Accessibility Specialist

This is a municipal government role reporting to the Town Clerk. The Accessibility Specialist leads the Town's efforts to build an inclusive, barrier-free community by ensuring compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related legislation, providing expert guidance on accessibility standards.

• Lead corporate accessibility initiatives for the Town
• Develop, implement, and monitor the Town's Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
• Provide expert guidance on accessibility standards
• Remediate documents for accessibility compliance
• Support website accessibility compliance
