tablished processes, effective test planning, execution, automation, and ongoing process improvement. Key Responsibilities: Works under broad guidance based on the interpretation of established accessibility compliance practices. Consults with peer SMEs, Developers and Analysts to identify, analyze, and document violations and inconsistencies in software applications. Reviews all aspects of software changes ensuring conformance to Teranet standards and regulatory compliance. Designs, executes and maintains test cases for functional and non-functional testing. Validates accuracy and integrity of test results and reports on testing progress. Develop test plans and provide testing estimates. Contribute to evolution and growth of the accessibility compliance practices Perform accessibility tests using evaluation tools, and assistive technologies as needed Perform manual testing as needed Records results of all testing activities Provides detailed reporting as needed Accountable for estimations shared, quality of the test conducted and reporting. Contribute and evolve testing strategy to measure the impact on new systems, enhancements to existing systems or the impact system releases have on the production environment. The criteria must be established in conjunction with provincial and federal regulations as applicable. Facilitate requirements reviews as needed with SMEs and project’s stakeholders Identify test conditions that require data and develop clear data requirements Design, develop and maintain a set of test cases for each application evaluated. These test cases will be used to complete any regression testing which may be required. The test cases will be continually adjusted to reflect product or regulatory compliance changes. Develop thorough domain knowledge of the products to be able to develop and/or review of test cases and test strategies Anticipate problems and take corrective action, escalation as needed to resolve and achieve commitments Work closely with SMEs, developers and analysts to reproduce and isolate problems as well as provide viable solution recommendations to the accessibility challenge at hand Architect, design, develop and maintain automation test suite. Work Closely with specialized services team automation developers to extend or review automation. Conduct effectiveness evaluation periodically and share results. Review of any problem tickets, which may be reported by users to determine nature of problem and possible cause Design, create, and implement manual and automated test cases Execute manual and automated test cases, recording all results and logging all defects Create and maintain automation scripts (Playwright/PowerShell/SOAPUI) Qualifications: Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 AA guidelines and requirements Expert Knowledge of WAI-ARIA authoring guidelines and best practices Expert knowledge of AARM checkpoints Expert Knowledge of PDF and web accessibility compliance evaluation techniques Proven experience working with accessible design best practices Proven experience working with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Proven expertise using accessibility evaluation tools and frameworks (e.g., Axe, MS Accessibility Insights, WAVE, Developer Tools, Figma, Adobe Acrobat Pro etc) Proven expertise using assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver etc) Proven Experience with Single Page Application testing (e.g., Angular, React etc) Proven expertise in testing Web Applications and Web Services Proven experience in creating and maintaining Automation scripts using PLAYWRIGHT / POWERSHELL / SOAPUI Proven experience in programming or scripting language (JavaScript, Java, Groovy Script, C#) Proven experience in functional and non-functional testing Proven experience in working in a deadline driven environment Sound Experience in the Test Life Cycle and how it fits the SDLC Sound Experience in testing methodologies and techniques (Waterfall, Agile) Sound Experience with standard QA processes and tools (e.g., Jira, ALM QC etc) Sound Experience in risk-based testing Working knowledge of database design, SQL and relational database systems Experience in writing PL-SQL queries Knowledge of Client / Server and Object-Oriented architecture Strong business focus Organized and methodical approach with good attention to detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Analytical ability together with strong problem-solving skills Ability to work under own initiative and with minimal supervision Ability to produce quality reports on test results, defects and testing progress Must be a team player and work well under tight deadlines Experience : Degree/ Diploma in Computer Science or Equivalent, relating to accessibility or specific IT technologies (web, graphic design, applications, information, tools) or a related discipline Professional accessibility training or certification(CPACC, WAS, CPWA, ADS, CPABE, ISTQB) 8+ years of sound experience as an accessibility c
