Instructional Designer

WEX is hiring a remote Instructional Designer to build high-impact learning experiences across enterprise learning, leadership development, and role-based training initiatives.

The role combines instructional design, multimedia production, and stakeholder partnership to deliver modern, accessible learning content at global scale.

• Conduct needs assessments and discovery sessions to define learning objectives.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to develop effective learning solutions.
• Create course outlines, facilitator guides, job aids, interactive activities, and e-learning modules.
• Develop multimedia assets (video, graphics, animations, narrated content).
• Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to validate content quality and impact.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, review cycles, and approvals.
• Support workshops/training sessions and maintain strong stakeholder communication.

• Bachelor's degree (preferred in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Multimedia, Graphic Design, or related field).
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, and multimedia production.
• Proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, and collaboration/project tools.
• Strong foundation in instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
• Understanding of digital learning UX and accessibility standards (WCAG/Section 508).
• Strong written/verbal communication and project management skills.

• Portfolio of instructional design and e-learning samples.
• Experience with generative AI tools for learning content ideation and refinement.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and learning sessions.
• Experience with Jira and enterprise-scale learning operations.
