Accessibility Auditor

Position: Accessibility Auditor at Zenyth in Santa Monica (Fully Remote)

Zenyth is a leading end-to-end digital accessibility consulting firm committed to creating inclusive, usable digital experiences for people with disabilities. Our work spans auditing, design annotations, remediation guidance, verification, and ongoing compliance monitoring.

You will be responsible for evaluating websites and native mobile applications against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549 requirements through structured manual auditing and assistive technology testing.

Salary: $55,000-$65,000/year (full-time) or $25-$35/hour (contract)

• Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of websites and native mobile apps against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549
• Perform structured manual testing and assistive technology testing
• Document accessibility findings in clear, developer-ready format
• Verify and retest development work completed in response to audit findings
• Support ongoing accessibility compliance through targeted manual testing
• Review and validate automated scan results
• Capture and document assistive technology behavior through short videos
• Use WAVE, ARC Toolkit, axe DevTools, and Colour Contrast Analyzer
• Contribute to accessibility-focused design annotations using Figma

Required:

• Strong practical experience applying WCAG 2.2 Level AA to websites and mobile apps
• Familiarity with EN 301 549 requirements
• Intermediate experience testing with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, screen magnification
• Excellent written English skills for clear accessibility documentation
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools (WAVE, ARC Toolkit, axe DevTools, ANDI)
• Advanced understanding of semantic HTML and ARIA 1.2 specification
• Basic familiarity with CSS and JavaScript sufficient to identify accessibility issues
• Strong time management and ability to work in distributed team environment

• Professional front-end development experience
• Platform-specific expertise (Shopify, Webflow, WordPress, BigCommerce)
• Experience with EN 301 549, Section 508, or regional accessibility requirements
