TA I - CLIN 508 01 Introduction to Psychotherapy

Palo Alto University is hiring a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA I) for CLIN 508 Introduction to Psychotherapy, with responsibilities that include instructional support and accessible course material support.

This temporary assignment supports classroom engagement, grading, Canvas operations, office hours, and student learning support in a graduate psychology context.

• Support course instruction through grading and assignment support.
• Help moderate classroom/online learning environments and facilitate discussions.
• Manage course support tasks within Canvas.
• Hold office hours and support student engagement.
• Assist with didactic content and guest lecture support when applicable.
• Help ensure course materials are accessible.
• Support exam proctoring and related logistics.

• Currently enrolled PAU student in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of course subject matter.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Dependable work habits with ability to prioritize and follow through.
• Ability to support inclusive learning environments.

• Interest in developing instructional presentation and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Canvas or similar LMS platforms.
