Accessible Instruction Materials Assistant

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 is hiring an Accessible Instruction Materials Assistant to coordinate the production and delivery of inclusive educational materials for students with diverse learning needs.

The role supports equitable access by managing accessible format workflows, including Braille and alternate-format instructional resources.

• Coordinate acquisition, production, and distribution of accessible instructional materials.
• Support delivery of Braille and other alternate-format content.
• Partner with educators, administrators, and stakeholders to prioritize learner needs.
• Use relevant tools and workflows to create and distribute accessible educational resources.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments and material delivery.
• Help maintain compliance with legal and regulatory accessibility requirements in education.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Experience coordinating production/distribution of accessible learning materials.
• Ability to learn and apply Braille standards (National Library Service).
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with tools and technologies used for accessible educational content.
• Understanding of educational accessibility compliance requirements.

• Experience in K-12 instructional support settings.
• Experience working with school district accessibility service processes.
