ADA Accessibility Compliance Specialist

STI is hiring an ADA Accessibility Compliance Specialist for a Metro Atlanta engagement focused on accessibility compliance for digital and physical forms.

The role covers testing, remediation, process guidance, and cross-team collaboration to ensure ADA, Section 508, and WCAG compliance across agency document/form workflows.

• Review, test, and remediate digital/physical forms for ADA, Section 508, and WCAG compliance.
• Convert and remediate forms across PDF, HTML, and Microsoft Office formats.
• Conduct audits using tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, WAVE, axe, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
• Collaborate with design/development/content teams to embed accessibility in form workflows.
• Provide training and guidance for accessible form authoring.
• Document accessibility processes, findings, and compliance progress.
• Work with agency compliance teams to implement accessibility improvements.

• Strong knowledge of ADA, Section 508, WCAG 2.1+ and related accessibility standards.
• Experience remediating PDFs, Word documents, and web-based forms.
• Proficiency with accessibility testing tools and assistive technology testing.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and ARIA for form accessibility.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and detail orientation.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, MIS, or related field (or equivalent).
• Must be local to Metro Atlanta.
• U.S. citizen or green-card permanent resident.
• Georgia tax clearance documentation required at submission.
• Must pass background check/fingerprinting and meet agency compliance requirements.

• CPWA, WAS, or related accessibility certifications.
• Government compliance environment experience.
• Strong working knowledge of assistive technologies and user impact.
